About

An Extraordinary Yeshiva

Among the yeshiva's outstanding features are small classes, abundant personal tutoring, and a warm, caring team of Rabbis and administrators. This in turn enables the students to feel that they always have someone with whom they can discuss a wide range of personal and academic issues.

The main goal of the Yeshiva is to develop well-rounded individuals whose love for Torah will remain with them long after they graduate. The yeshiva places great emphasis on character development, and helps students develop a deeper sense of responsibility towards both family and community.

Summer Program

Another unique feature of the yeshiva is its summer program. During the summer break, many boys suffer from a lack of appropriate activities to keep them occupied. This creates a danger of possible involvement in unproductive or even undesirable ways of passing the summer break. In order to prevent this problem, the yeshiva offers an exciting summer program, packed with interesting trips, activities and Shabbosim. Not only do the boys enjoy a meaningful and enjoyable summer break, they also benefit from strengthening their bonds with members of the staff and deepening friendships among their fellow students. As a result of their invigorating summer program, the students return to yeshiva refreshed and with a greater enthusiasm for their studies.

The Ratner Learning Enrichment Evening Program

The yeshiva offers its students a unique and innovative evening program where choice young kollel Rabbis come to study with the boys. This gives the students the opportunity to review the day’s lessons together with the knowledgeable Rabbis. The additional support gives the weaker students the ability to keep up with the rest of the class and gives them the extra assistance needed to succeed.

In addition, the students develop warm relationships with their mentors and become Shabbos guests in their homes, thus benefiting from further exposure to warm, Torah family life. An “older brother” relationship develops and the students are often able to discuss personal issues with the mentors, under the guidance of the Rosh HaYeshiva.
